Pneumatic counters (also called Pneumatic pulse counters or totalizing counters) are used to regulate and numerically monitor processes in pneumatic controls and systems. They can be used for counting in all types of operations where processes can be expressed in pneumatic pulses and provide the option of either manual or pneumatic resetting of the counter value to zero before a new counting operation begins.
These features allow the counters to be used as an event, piece or batch counter, as an integrator for program step display and much more.
After the preselected period of time has elapsed, pressure is applied to the output of the pneumatic timer unit. The signal remains active until the compressed air supply at input 1 is interrupted for at least 200ms, in which case the preselected value is set again.
Depending on the version, you can select periods from 0.2s to 300s.
