The absolute encoder AC59 and AC61 of the ACURO Industry series of Hengstler are characterised by a durable Design and a rich interface support.
The resolution is up to 29 bits. The compact stainless steel housing fulfills the requirements of the protection class IP67, so that the encoders particularly out-play their strengths at places of work, which are exposed to extreme environmental influences or exhibit high hygiene requirements. The vibration resistance of 100 m/s² as well as the resistance to shocks of 1000 m/s² ensure that the encoders keep working. They are particularly suitable for applications in the food and beverage industry, in the petrochemie, in cable shifting ships, in ship aggregates such as winches or cranes as well as the usage in offshore applications.
Due to the large number of offered variants the encoder is ideal for all kind of tasks. Thus Hengstler offers the encoder not only as single turn or multi-turn variant, but also with integrated bus hood (AC 61) or radial and/or axial data cable connection (AC 59). The broad interface support offers additional degrees of freedom. So the user can select SSI, BiSS, parallel, SSI-P, CANopen, CANlayer2, Profibus, DeviceNet and Interbus depending upon your needs.
