Counters are used for monitoring tasks, e.g. measuring operating hours for maintenance purposes. Electromechanical counters have a compact design and can be read off even when switched off - ideal and essential for medical technology.
Hengstler - Beyond the standard
Our counters monitor the operating time of X-ray machines, control gear for fluorescent lamps used for medical purposes and other medical applications.
Depending on the situation, ventilators are among the most frequently used therapy devices today. Powerful, dynamically fine-tunable electric motors and safe counting systems are in high demand here to capture the stroke cycles. This is also a classic application for the very harmoniously regulating motor feedback systems with the highest linearity, and for pneumatic, mechanical and electromechanical solutions.
Hengstler counters are also used in the widespread application for setting the dosing quantities for pipettes.
Our solutions are often used in conjunction with PLC controllers, displaying values for the user directly on site or reporting command states to central units. It is also possible to integrate Hengstler counters in existing networks.
Together with customers, we have also developed special solutions for a range of medical technology applications relating to metal and plastics processing as well as complex assemblies.
Machines for blood treatment and analysis are one of many applications in which Hengstler counters function reliably. Flexible systems meet the requirements for several treatments with a single platform that can be adapted to meet the specific needs of each patient. Our counters measure the operating time of the entire system. Due to their compact overall dimensions, the counter can be mounted in a position that does not hinder the system's functionality and that guarantees reliable patient care.
Intelligent automation is increasingly finding its way into a large number of medical systems. This makes examinations for patients more comfortable and safer - we help you with this!
Hengstler - Beyond the standard
In the medical environment, specialist personnel must be able to 100% rely on the availability of the necessary devices. Here, seconds can sometimes mean the difference between life and death.
Looking inside a patient using an X-ray machine enables quick and targeted action.
Current X-ray imaging techniques today enable significantly more targeted surgical interventions and therapeutic applications. The computer tomographs that calculate their three-dimensional information from CT scans have been increasingly replaced by the much more elegant and user-friendly design of the flat detector C-arm CTs since 2004.
The necessary permanent location of the imaging system as well as the position of the patient bed is determined using Hengstler rotary encoders, where necessary also in connection with cables as wire-actuated encoders. Reliability and precise real-time detection of the position are just as important here as radiation resistance, especially for image-guided therapies such as proton therapy.
Where microsurgical interventions are required, operations are increasingly made safer today through the use of surgical robots or, if necessary, by allowing specialists from around the world to operate remotely.
Safety and the highest precision are required here, properties that make Hengstler rotary encoders the preferred sensor of choice for operating systems.
With our proven quality and reliability, you can provide the best possible patient care.
