The intrinsically safe optical ATEX hollow shaft encoder ISD37 for extremely high stress in industrial applications is suitable for shaft diameters up to 1" (25.4 mm). It operates reliably in the temperature range from -40 to +100 °C. Using a latest technology OptoASIC, the encoder is insensitive to shock and vibration and is ideal for use in the chemical, food, oil & gas, paper and steel industries. The HSD37 encoder series also includes intrinsically safe ATEX versions for use in hazardous areas.
