Successful SPS / IPC / Drives 2013

Jerome Rizzo, Senior Sales Director at Hengstler GmbH, was extremely happy with the results of this year's SPS / IPC / Drives trade show appearance in Nuremberg. During the three days of the exhibition, strong interest was expressed by many attendees for Hengstler GmbH‘s products and solutions. This year’s visitor attendance at SPS / IPC / Drives exceeded that of last year, confirming it as a leading trade show for electric automation systems and components.

Hengstler once again presented an excellent overview of product and benefit possibilities in the fields of rotary encoders, relays, counters and displays. The quality and diversity of Hengstler solutions, which provide customers with advanced design freedoms in their applications, were highlighted.

There was special interest in the new Hengstler multi-turn, hollow-shaft, ACURO AR 62, absolute encoder family, which pairs a very compact and extremely robust design with a hollow shaft configuration. This Hengstler Heavy Duty encoder family, called “ACURO Robust”, offers new possibilities in applications requiring especially rugged components. But other innovations to the ACURO, ICURO and Tico product families also received a great deal of attention from visitors. Highlights included battery-free and gearless multi-turn encoders, as well as the electronic counter family Tico 77x .

There was also praise for the expert advice available to attendees on the spot, and for the clear and concise presentation of the company's solutions and products. "We're already looking forward to presenting a wide variety of news and opportunities to the show visitors throughout the coming year," said Director of Marketing Alexander Hess.
