English Numbering Machines, previously with Cableform Ltd, now belongs to Hengstler
Effective April 1, 2004, the Hengstler GmbH in Aldingen/Germany (member of the Danaher Corporation/USA) has taken over the English company and brand ENM. ENM previously belonged to Cableform Ltd.
ENM, English Numbering Machines, is a well-known manufacturer of mechanical counters and hand numbering machines for the stationary industry and legal profession.
In addition to the more than 60 years of experience in the development and manufacture of the above mentioned products, ENM also supplies a large variety of barrel counters and custom index assemblies, e.g. for the gas and water industries.
The reason for the acquisition is that the ENM counter products fit extremely well into the present, classic Hengstler counter range. Above this, the numbering machines are a further interesting expansion of the range.
Hengstler has taken over the present customers and products and will integrate them in its Business Unit Counters. The brand ENM will be continued. ENM products will in future be manufactured in Hengstler's the existing Slowakian production location at Kezmarok.
